Turkey wants its art back, museums from NY to Berlin deeply annoyed

Turkey is on the warpath to get back its art back from the likes of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Pergamon in Berlin—going so far as to file a criminal complaint against the former. Hermann Parzinger, president of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Pergamon. “They should be careful about making moral claims when their museums are full of looted treasures.”
