Watch one of nature’s biggest sex shows on the Great Barrier Reef

Conditions have to be just right for corals to put on one of nature’s most spectacular events. Coral spawning on the Great Barrier Reef happens once a year, just after a full moon, when the winds are low and water is warm. Trillions of sperm and eggs get released into the water, creating a blizzard of activity.
