The soothing, hypnotic colors of tulip season, seen from above

It’s tulip season in the Netherlands, when fields of the bulb that gently screams “spring is here” bloom in a vast array of colors.

Aerial photos show the colorful expanses of flowers across Netherlands, one of the world’s biggest exporters of the flower. Tulips are also a huge draw for tourists.

In some images they look like colorful video static, in others like a giant woven, color-blocked quilt.
