Peugeot and GM strengthen alliance in Europe

PSA Peugeot Citroën and General Motors announced plans to join forces on four vehicle projects and to start purchasing parts together, primarily in Europe. These are the biggest steps yet in their eight-month old car-making alliance. The news sparked concerns from a union at OpelGM’s operation in Germany over how employees would be affected.
