The relentless decline of BlackBerry, visualized

By John McDuling
Published

BlackBerry lost another $423 million during the fourth quarter.

Revenues tumbled 64% during the fourth quarter from the prior year.

  • That was Blackberry’s worst sales decline on record, though it has had some quarterly losses that were even uglier.

And BlackBerry shares have dramatically underperformed the S&P 500 over the past five years.

  • Though the shares are up slightly this morning, as apparently Wall Street thought the results would be even worse than they were.
