The TV networks and streamers that got the most Emmy nominations — and the least

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday the nominations for the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, which airs Sept. 15 on ABC. Streaming giants and cable channels like Netflix, HBO, and FX earned the most nods for their series. While others such as Paramount+, PBS, and STARZ struggled to keep up.
Here are the TV networks and streamers that received the most and least nominations, according to the Wrap.
Netflix — 107

Netflix dominated this year’s Emmy nominations, receiving 107 nods — up from 103 nominations last year. The streaming giant received two nominations for outstanding drama series for The Crown and 3 Body Problem, some the platform’s most expensive series. Other Netflix series that earned nominations include Baby Reindeer, Griselda, and Ripley.
FX — 93

FX has nominations for both the outstanding drama and comedy series for The Bear and Shōgun, respectively. The latter of which received the most nominations, 25, on any series this year.
HBO/Max — 91

HBO and its streaming platform Max came in third this year with a whopping 91 nominations including The Gilded Age for outstanding drama series and Hacks outstanding comedy series.
Apple TV+ — 70

Apple’s streaming service received 70 nominations including to nods for outstanding series for The Morning Show and Slow Horses.
ABC, CBS — 38

Broadcast networks ABC and CBS both received 38 nominations each. ABC’s Abbott Elementary is nominated in the outstanding comedy series category. While CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is nominated for outstanding talk series.
Prime Video — 37

Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video got 37 nods including outstanding drama series nominations for Fallout and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
NBC — 33

The broadcast network NBC received 33 nominations thanks to show like Saturday Night Live, The Voice, and America’s Got Talent.
Hulu — 26

The streaming platform Hulu received 26 nominations including a nod for outstanding comedy series for Only Murders in the Building.
Disney+ — 19

Disney’s streaming service earned 19 nominations for programs like animated series X-Men ‘97 and the documentary Jim Henson Idea Man.
MTV — 10

MTV received 10 nominations, all for RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Peacock — 9

NBCUniversal’s streaming service has 9 nominations including for outstanding reality competition program for The Traitors.
Fox, No Network, Paramount+, Bravo— 6

Fox, No Network, Paramount+ and Bravo all have six nominations each for show like Top Chef and Fraiser.
Comedy Central, BBC America — 5

Comedy Central and BBC America each have 5 nominations for show like The Daily Show and Planet Earth III.
Meta/Facebook — 4

Facebook parent company Meta received four nominations in the outstanding emerging media category for programs like The Pirate Queen with Lucy Liu.
National Geographic, PBS, Investigation Discovery, Showtime — 3

National Geographic, PBS, Investigation Discovery, and Showtime received three nominations each for show like Life Below Zero, Antiques Roadshow and Fellow Travelers.
Adult Swim, Discovery Channel, Shudder, YouTube — 2

Adult Swim, Discovery Channel, Shudder and YouTube all received two nominations each for shows like The Eric Grande Show and Deadliest Catch.
Starz, BET+, Food Network, Gala Film — 1

And finally Starz, BET+, the Food Netowrk and Gala Film each received one nomination each for Mary & George, The Ms. Pat Show, Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives and RZR.
