Panasonic forecasts a $9.6 billion loss, amid slow TV sales and restructuring costs

Panasonic said it expects to lose $9.6 billion in its current financial year. The Japanese electronics maker blamed falling TV sales, a strong yen, and a major increase in the costs of a restructuring effort. Panasonic had earlier predicted a profit.
