A ticket to Disney World now costs more than $100

In 1953, Disney released the animated short film “Ben and Me,” a tale of a friendship between US founding father Benjamin Franklin and a talking mouse named Amos. On Sunday, visitors to Walt Disney World in Orlando will need to start bringing their own Benjamin Franklin—in the form of his portrait on US $100 bills—to the park to get in.

As of Mar. 1, a one day ticket to the Magic Kingdom will cost $105 before tax, up from $99. The last price increase was at the same time last year. Attendance to all of Disney’s US parks rose 3% in the latest fiscal year.

Tickets to the other parks at the resort—such as Epcot—will increase from $94 to $97 a day.
