Boehner pitches millionaire tax hike in fiscal cliff negotiations
Politico reports that US House Speaker John Boehner has made a significant concession in negotiations to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff: He’s willing to support legislation that would raise tax rates on Americans making more than $1 million a year. President Obama has called for taxes to go up on individuals making more than $250,000 a year.
