President Obama may return to Washington as soon as Wednesday: aide

With the tax hikes and spending cuts that compose the fiscal cliff set to begin taking effect on January 1, President Barack Obama announced that he will return to Washington on Wednesday, cutting short his Hawaiian vacation, in order to resume negotiations with Congress.
