Even after the Supreme Court’s historic decision to legalize gay marriage, there are still plenty of legal ways to discriminate against LGBT people in many US states. In last night’s episode of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver asked the 2016 presidential candidates whether they would support a comprehensive bill protecting LGBT rights. Most declined to answer; the campaign of Republican Rand Paul responded: ”We’ll pass. Thanks.”
