Jeff Bezos offers to launch Donald Trump into space

In space, no one can hear you scream. Or propose shocking immigration policies.

Perhaps that’s what Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had in mind when he tweeted “#sendDonaldtospace” yesterday (Dec.7).

Hours before Trump released a statement calling for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” and after calling New York mayor Bill de Blasio the worst mayor in the US, the Republican presidential candidate squeezed in a few choice words about Bezos.

Calling The Washington Post, which Bezos owns, a “scam” and a “big tax shelter,” Trump tweeted:

Bezos responded with an offer for Trump to take a ride with his spaceflight company, Blue Origin:

Trump has so far not responded to Bezo’s invitation.
