Apple has narrowly avoided an X-rated design mishap

Foiling dirty minds everywhere, Apple has updated the letter spacing in a tagline promoting its newest operating system, El Capitan. The tagline reads: “There’s more to love with every click.”

Through a manual override, Apple’s designers judiciously added an extra space between letters in the word “click,” which appears lodged between two mountain peaks.

The change raised an eyebrow for eagle-eyed software designer Dan Leech. He spotted the tweak in the CSS code earlier this week and pointed it out on Twitter:

But that doesn’t mean jokes are off the table.
