This chart of Viagra’s uplifting effect on drug prices is the greatest thing ever

US drug prices are rising at the fastest rate since the late 1990s, according to data on producer prices released today (May 13).

But it’s still way off the previous spike, when the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra won regulatory approval in March 1998, and prices, erm…well, see for yourself:
