If you’re afraid of heights, this glass platform could be your nightmare. But it’s becoming a popular weekend destination for Beijingers whose idea of relaxing is to challenge themselves.

Built by the Chinese government, the platform sits overlooking Shilinxia, a scenic area on the outskirts of Beijing. It’s connected to the hillside by a suspended glass bridge which is the longest in the world, according to its manager.
