Scientists have created a real life microscopic Pac-Man maze

Researchers in Norway have constructed a tiny Pac-Man maze to better understand how microorganisms interact with each other and their environment. Unlike the original computer game, their maze comes with potentially deadly outcomes, as you will see in the video above.

At just 1mm wide, the maze is only visible under a microscope. The project is a collaboration between scientists at University College of Southeast Norway and artist Adam Bartley.
