A Canadian startup has a new plan for making Elon Musk’s futuristic Hyperloop a reality

Hyperloop just started looking a whole lot cooler.

The high-speed transportation system, a brainchild of Elon Musk, is all about speeding up the journey between major cities. Passenger pods would zip through a near-vacuum tube connecting, for example, Toronto and Montreal—a trip that could take as little as half an hour.

In some new renderings of the concept, the Canadian startup Transpod is showing that all pods are not created equal. Watch the video above to see how the company fits into the larger scope of the effort to make Hyperloop a reality, and what that reality might look like.
