In loving memory of Vine: Quartz picks the greatest Vines ever

Vine is dead. The team behind the Twitter-owned six-second video app announced today in a Medium post that it would be discontinued “in the coming months.”

To honor the popular app, Quartz staff picked some of their favorites from across Vine’s four-year history. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
