Thousands protested across the United States last night, Nov. 9, following business mogul Donald Trump’s election to the US presidency.

Demonstrations erupted in several large cities, which had voted predominantly for Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 election. Crowds chanting “Not my president” amassed outside Trump properties in Chicago and New York City, while large groups blocked traffic on the Hollywood 101 Freeway in Los Angeles. Protestors denounced the Republican president-elect as a racist and sexist in signs and songs.
