China dominates the world’s trade of Christmas stuff

Where do ornaments, tinsel, and plastic Christmas trees come from? And who’s buying the stuff?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, China is making them and the US is importing in mass quantities according to the International Trade Centre.

Of course there are small amounts of trade between other nations, but nothing on the scale of China.
