Japan’s Bald Men Club has a motto: “To brighten the world with our shiny heads.”

Embracing their hairlessness, bald men gather regularly to play games and socialize in the northern Japanese city of Tsurata. The group, called the Bald Men Club, adheres to the motto “to view baldness in a positive manner, to have fun, and to brighten the world with our shiny heads.”

Watch the video above to see their annual bald men’s competition, which they hope to one day turn into a global event.
