US Pres. Obama doesn’t want Chinese wind farm near military base, blocks deal

Citing national security concerns, US president Barack Obama blocked Chinese wind developer Ralls Corporation from buying US wind farms near a Navy base where the military does training for unmanned drones and electronic-warfare planes. It is the first time in 22 years that a US president has blocked a deal like this and shows how sensitive the administration is trade with China before November’s presidential election.
