Americans love SUVs, which make up the majority of new car purchases in the country. But not all SUVs are created equal.

Consumer Reports tested 155 SUVs to find the best ones currently on the market. It evaluated each vehicle’s road test performance, predicted reliability, owner satisfaction, safety, and other metrics.
