DETROIT (AP) — DETROIT (AP) — DTE Energy Co. (DTE) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $332 million.

On a per-share basis, the Detroit-based company said it had profit of $1.61. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.44 per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.67 per share.

DTE Energy expects full-year earnings in the range of $5.65 to $5.85 per share.
