What are the implications of a mifepristone ban?

Just over a week ago, Matthew Kacsmaryk, a federal judge in Texas, invalidated the approval of mifepristone, a drug long used to induce abortions until the 10th week of pregnancy.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved mifepristone 23 years ago, but that wasn’t good enough for Kacsmaryk.

Tomorrow, the Weekend Brief will look at the implications of a mifepristone ban as the issue goes to the US Supreme Court.
