MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) — MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) — KVH Industries Inc. (KVHI) on Thursday reported a loss of $4.2 million in its third quarter.

The Middletown, Rhode Island-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and stock option expense, came to 12 cents per share.

The maker of mobile communication and navigation equipment posted revenue of $33.5 million in the period.
