The Pacifica can seat seven or eight, depending on which model you buy, and in both models the third row is “wide enough that three adults can fit,” Consumer Reports said. Despite that, it still ranked last among their tests of three-row SUVs for overall performance.

Lexus TX 2025

Among luxury midsized SUVs, Consumer Reports said the Lexus TX has the roomiest third row, with “enough headroom for average-sized adults.” It did warm that those above six feet will probably hit their heads on the ceiling, though.

Among large SUVs, the Wagoneer has the roomiest third row. “While the second row is quite spacious, it’s the roominess of the third row that impresses the most. The Wagoneer and more luxurious Grand Wagoneer have a third row that’s spacious enough for two adults to take a long trip without feeling like they’ve been relegated to a penalty box,” Consumer Reports said.
