The 10 most expensive ZIP codes in America

Rent prices may feel high just about everywhere, but in some ZIP codes, they’re downright astronomical.
RentCo analyzed more than 2.6 million rental listings to find the priciest ZIP codes in 2024. Here are the 10 most expensive neighborhoods in the U.S.
#10: Naples, FL (34108)

The Naples waterfront hit the list in 10th place. The median two-bedroom house rents for $8,200 a month.
#9: Boston, MA (02110)

Boston’s financial district and downtown came in ninth place thanks to new construction in the area. Rents for a two-bedroom are an average of $8,450 a month.
#8: Naples, FL (34103)

In eighth place is another Naples ZIP code. The median rent for a one-bedroom place is $4,500 a month.
#7: Los Angeles, CA (90067)

In seventh place is Los Angeles’ Century City, where the median two-bedroom rent is $8,500 a month.
#6: New York, NY (10282)

Parts of downtown Manhattan (including Battery Park City) took the sixth spot. The average two-bedroom place in the New York City neighborhood goes for $8,800 a month.
#5: New York, NY (10007)

Another New York City neighborhood took the fifth spot, with a ZIP code that includes Tribeca. The average one-bedroom goes for $6,080 a month.
#4: Snowmass Village, CO (81615)

Popular ski destination Snowmass Village came in fourth, with median two-bedroom rents landing at $9,750 a month.
#3: Margate City, NJ (08402)

Beach town Margate City took third place, with two-bedroom places averaging $12,000 a month in rent.
#2: Aspen, CO (81611)

Aspen, another skiing destination, took second place. The median two-bedroom rent is $15,000 a month.
#1: Fisher Island, FL (33109)

Popular billionaire hotspot Fisher Island took first place. The median two-bedroom rent is $25,000 a month.
