The 10 priciest zip codes for new-home buyers are in just three states: New York, Florida, and California

The median price of a new home in the U.S. was $410,800 in the second quarter of 2025. But in many zip codes around the country, it's more than ten times that figure.
Property Shark compiled a list of the priciest zip codes in the U.S., looking at registered residential transactions that closed between Jan. 1 and Sept. 30. (The list excludes zip codes in Montana, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, where actual closed-sales data is unavailable.)
Among the top zip codes, it found that all 10 were in just three states: New York, California, and Florida.
