McDonald's $MCD began selling two new adult meals tied to Netflix $NFLX's Academy Award-winning film "KPop Demon Hunters" on March 31, part of a joint promotion between the fast-food chain and the streaming service.

The two meals — the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal and the HUNTR/X $TWTR Meal — are themed around the film's dueling K-pop groups and are available at McDonald's restaurants nationwide, the company said. The campaign draws on flavors from McDonald's restaurants in South Korea.

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal includes a Spicy Saja McMuffin — a Sausage McMuffin with Egg topped with a peppery sauce — hash browns, and a small soft drink. The HUNTR/X Meal includes 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium soft drink, and three limited-time items: Ramyeon McShaker Fries dusted with a soy, garlic, sesame and spice seasoning; Hunter Sauce, a sweet chili dipping sauce; and Demon Sauce, a purple mustard preparation.

Each meal comes with a collectible photocard pack containing a character card and a "Derpy access card." Customers who scan the QR code on the access card and enter a unique code in the McDonald's app by April 26 can unlock exclusive content and a reveal of which group wins a fan vote, McDonald's said.

A standalone new McFlurry flavor — the Derpy McFlurry, which combines vanilla soft serve with berry popping pearls and wild berry sauce — is also available as part of the promotion.

"Everything we do at McDonald's is for the fans, and no one can relate to that more than Netflix and KPop Demon Hunters," Alyssa Buetikofer, McDonald's chief marketing and customer experience officer, said in a statement. "Big things happen when you bring two massive fandoms together."

The partnership could carry significant financial weight for McDonald's. A restaurant industry analyst told MarketWatch the meals stand to earn McDonald's $100 million within days of hitting the menu.

"KPop Demon Hunters" is a Netflix film produced with Sony $SONY Pictures Animation, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. It centers on a K-pop group that operates as demon hunters and must confront a rival boy band of demons.
