On a per-share basis, the Fremont, California-based company said it had a loss of 15 cents. Losses, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions and non-recurring costs, were 9 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 4 cents per share.

The maker of gunfire detection systems posted revenue of $24 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $23.8 million.
