While there's a lot to be said for conquering Dimensius the All-Devouring or Argus the Unmaker, not all of your time in World of Warcraft has to be so confrontational. Sometimes, a little digital downtime is just what the Restoration Druid ordered. If so, consider taking a break from your quest and perusing some of the finest homes in Azeroth.
Zillow and Blizzard Entertainment have teamed up to launch "Zillow for Warcraft," a specialized site that lets fans of the massively multiplayer online game explore in-game homes as easily as they can look at real-world real estate listings. Forget Zillow Gone Wild. This is Zillow Gone Warcraft.

“Player housing is a milestone moment for the World of Warcraft community, and we wanted to honor it in a way that felt authentic and unexpected,” said Beverly W. Jackson, vice president of brand and product marketing at Zillow. "This collaboration brings two worlds together, celebrating home as both a place to belong and a place to escape into something that feels honest and personal.”
To put any fears to rest: No, this isn't a transactional site. There's no pricing, no buying of the virtual homes, no selling, and no Zestimates. (Click the pre-purchase button, though, and the site will try to encourage you to sign up for WoW.)
You can, however, tour the homes in 3D and unlock in-game cosmetic items. The microsite comes as the game prepares to launch its latest expansion, called Midnight, on March 2, which will let players finally own homes in the game, something they've been asking Blizzard to offer for over two decades.
“Player housing has sparked an extraordinary wave of creativity in World of Warcraft, and the passion our community has poured into shaping their own spaces is nothing short of inspiring,” said Monica Austin, Chief Marketing Officer of Blizzard Entertainment.
